We had a great value for our money at this homestay. The room was comfortable with a cozy bed and a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The location was convenient, not too far from the bus and train station, as well as a big supermarket. The family who owned the homestay were friendly and helpful, even driving us to the bus stop one evening.

We had a great time staying here! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and a big supermarket nearby. The owner and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful, even giving us a ride to the bus stop. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including a mosquito net and a fan. We also loved the cozy seating area and the refrigerator where we could keep our drinks cool. we were very satisfied with our stay.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks. The wifi went out for most of the day, which was a bit inconvenient.

Just a short 15-minute tuk tuk ride from the airport, it offers the ideal opportunity to have a peaceful night's sleep before embarking on your Sri Lanka tour. The owners of the homestay are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The vegetarian dinner and breakfast they serve are not only delicious but also very reasonably priced at just $3 per person. In addition to the wonderful hospitality, the homestay also offers incredible deals on activities, such as a 2-hour boat tour in the lagoon for 4,000 rupies. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms cannot be overlooked, ensuring a comfortable stay. If you're interested in exploring the area, the homestay is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the main junction, where you can catch a bus to Anuradhapura. Chelli Homestay offers excellent value for money and is the perfect place to begin your Sri Lankan adventure.

had a great time at this cozy homestay in negombo. the hosts were kind and helpful, even letting us check in early. loved the spacious room, separate bathroom, and delicious home-cooked dinner. perfect for a night before or after a flight.
